Tapin's noblewoman scrambled to her feet, grabbed her sword, and thrust the blade through the
injured creature's heart. With a graceful tug, the woman withdrew her sword and
turned her attention toward Ivánstan.
He glanced at the third wyldebeast who lay on the ground, its body twitching, near death.
"You're fearless," she sheathed her sword.
"You're amazing," admiration laced Ivanstan's voice. Not many would face danger with such
courage. After all, Tapin was known for its mysticism and magic while Daháka was known for being forthright and its gifted swordsmen.
A look of relief and gratitude filled her eyes.
