Ivánstan joined her as she marched into the structure, ready to offer his sword should she need it.

"What's your name?"

I don't read much romantic fantasy, but this was so well structured and so lovely, I could not put it down.

I loved the characters of Ivánstan and Sonia and the romance growing between them is sweet and believable.

  2. Veronica, thanks for stopping by. Sonia's house "bonds" itself to falcons. Every royal house an animal it bonds to.

  3. Lots of questions formed while reading these 8. And that's a good thing. You've stirred Joe Reader's curiosity. Nicely done! I like that it takes place on the continent of Gaia. And what a cool idea--that each royal house bonds to a particular animal. :-)
