Snippet Sunday: 99 Cent Contemporary Romance: Feast of Candles #snippetsunday #99cents

Hi all, I'm participating in the Weekend Warriors Snippet Sunday. This month, I'll be taking snippets from my Christmas romance, Feast of Candles. You can find the Weekend Warriors Snippet Sunday list at:

This snippet:      Lily has plans for Drake.

*****
Drake clasped his hands together, curiosity growing in his eyes. He glanced at Lily, then to Neil, and back at Lily. "Do you have something planned for me?"

"Neil has a cold—" began Lily.
"I can manage," Neil said.

"You need rest." She paused, her stare bold and intense. "Would you be Fred Claus for the children tomorrow?"

****

"Feast of Candles" is a spicy contemporary Christmas romance. Drake de Brettville travels all the way from Denmark to San Franscisco to meet Lily Marquand, a wine maker. Will romance blossom, despite their different worlds?

  2. Somehow I doubt that this was the sort of "plans" he was hoping for.

  3. He's going to be Fred Claus? Interesting.

They definitely do not want Neil giving his cold to those children. Fred, it must be!
