Snippet Sunday: $1.99 Fantasy Romance; The Green Rose #snippetsunday

This snippet:   Cason explains what happened to Sonia's father

Cason paused and glanced at Sonia. "I'm sorry, but your father appeared drugged, possibly wounded. A wyldebeast carried him. The wizard opened a portal to a heavily forested area with a steep tower that appeared to be constructed out of granite. I called out, but the wizard blasted me with a flash of lightning from his hand and then disappeared."

Sonia clenched her fists, anger flashed in her falcon-like eyes. "Did you believe my father to be alive?"
