Snippet Sunday - Feast of Candles - 99 cent contemporary romance

Hi all, I'm participating in the Weekend Warriors Snippet Sunday. This month, I'll be taking snippets from my 99 cent "spicy" contemporary romance, "Feast of Candles."

BLURB: Drake is going to take the biggest risk of his life all on a bottle of wine. Can he break the barriers around Lily's heart?

Drake dared a step forward and placed a hand on her elbow. "I don't want you to feel pressured to give me an answer right now."

"Good. I don't want to confuse business with pleasure." She turned to face him, her expression thoughtful, yet quiet.

He curved his fingers under her chin, tipped her face toward his, and kissed her.

Drake started the kiss slow, savoring the sweet/sour taste of her lips.

  2. She might not want to mix business with pleasure, but it sure sounds like he does. ;) Sexy snippet! And I agree--fantastic cover.

    1. LOL. I agree. Drake believes actions speak louder than words and he really convinces Lily when he does two things to prove himself.
